November: NZ LAA Annual Trek  Hanmer Springs. 10th-12th

The  best llama week of my llama lifestyle thus far.  We had a ball and there are so many people to thank. I will always be eternally grateful to Lynn Cameron for transporting my Headly the 1200 kms  to the event.

Daffodil World + Lions Club

Our 6th annual appearance, unfortunately was a wash out.  It was a disappointment as we couldn't enjoy the 18 acres of daffodil with Harmony & Mariner whom we had taken along.

Sydney surprised us with his early arrival, his brother Marco was only 330 days old when Sydney was born.

I'm sure the Duff family that own him will be thrilled when they finally get to meet him.

July: Thursday 12th

Zorro was the first of 5 males to be gelded this month.

It was also great to get all 36 llamas vaccinated & wormed while we had the vet here.

We had an excellent weekend with llama friends Penny & Raewyn who came up from Auckland delivering a llama. Time flew past walking llamas, taking a casual cart drive and llama watching.

On Thursday 3rd at 11:30 Octavia   was born.  Farm visitors arrived just after her birth so enjoyed a hands on meeting of the latest arrival.

Pet Expo 2001 was a lot of fun, for which I must thank Penny from Karma Llamas for her hospitality and all the work she put in. It was also lovely to have the support of fellow camelid owners who came and cheered us on.

I had three days of sheer llama fun with a new friend, Lynn Cameron. We took llamas up hill and down dale, through bushes and over ditches, testing their different levels of ability.
