December 8, 2004

We took four young llamas for their first trip to a beach and they thoroughly enjoyed splashing around in the water.

 

November 21,
Talia takes Francesca & 8 mth old Xquisite for a stroll around the block. Xquisite is tied to her mother so she can calmly follow closely.

Stone Store Hill, Kerikeri.
 

September 7th, 8th and 9th

There were over 100 children from Riverview School who had the pleasure of leading a llama as part of their study of mammals.

 

25th August

We had two busloads of visitors on the same day.  Due to heavy rain we set up a display in the sunroom to avoid the mud over at the llama yards.

 

9th July

Campbell takes Dalai out for a drive.

 


Saturday June 26th

Kerikeri celebrated Matariki day (Maori New Years) at the Stone Store basin.

We settled ourselves by the river's edge at Kemp House, New Zealand's first wooden building and mission house (1819-1848)

Hone, a local Maori of the Ngapuhi iwi, stopped to say hello to
Hocus Pocus.

 

Saturday 8th May 2004

Fun Day Kids and llamas lined up for fun and games with obstacles and llamas.

We took four boys on a four kilometre walk from Lake Manuwai through dairy farming country.

Maungaturoto Lifestyle Field Days

Poetry and Socrates behaved impeccably showing just what is special about llamas for a Lifestyle Block.

 

February 7th

Llamas were invited to attend the opening of the KeriKeri Library.

Chyna Doll greets small farm visitors by lying down for accessible cuddles.
